As traveling abroad is an important aspect of her compositional work, Reinel went to her homeland Congo DRC in January 2022 to work closely with Congolese Kinshasa-based musicians to fuse their traditional rhythms with her own contemporary style, creating a unique and captivating sound.

As the song progresses, Reinel explores themes of identity, connection, and home. She sings about the importance of staying true to oneself and finding a sense of belonging, no matter where life may take you.
